I hope your right. The only thing that seems certain right now is that Jason Kidd wants out and that he's more likely to head West than stay East. Where he ends up, who knows? But I don't foresee a Parker/Kidd platoon. S.A. may surprise everybody and not even pay up for Kidd. S.A. has so many options with its good money management that they don't necessarily NEED to get Kidd... esp if Parker continues the way he's playing and gets them many steps closer to the Ring. I think it's premature for people to think Kidd is definitely heading toward S.A.

Meanwhile, I do see some good commodities coming to market in Spreewell and that entire Atlanta squad. That, to me, is more realistic. Payton, IMHO will stick with Karl in Milwaukee. He only has a few more years left insofar as career years go, and I think he likes the "comfort" of being new Karl. The trouble with a lot of veteran point guards is that they don't want to play second fiddle to the incumbent. Rumor has it that Tim Hardaway may be coming back too. Could be interesting to see where he goes and which team will gamble on him.

    :D

Uhhh...first. Tim Hardaway is already back! Are you being sarcastic or something?!? I can't tell when you always put :D at the end of your posts.
    And uhh...tigereye. You are dreaming.
Tony Parker is a good point guard.
But still...he would be useless with the Houston Rockets. We just don't know how to use point guards. If we can't even use Yao Ming...who is 7'6" and has better ballhandling than many forwards...then how can we use Tony Parker. Yeah...he would be good.
If we can get some better coaches...and get Parker, now that would be great.
Mobley for Parker? Mobley is already one of the top shooting guards. Parker isn't that good yet. He's only 20..but we already have Eddie. Man. Our team would be even younger.

I'd rather trade Larry for Gregg.

Okay. Forget all the trades and stuff.

The most important fix has to be changing the coaching.

I hope Rudy gets healthy and comes back next season. But someone on the team has to realize that they look horrible. Just watch the tapes. The Utah Jazz and New Jersey Nets and Sacramento Kings are automatic offenses. Anyone can play. They just have to know the system. I wish the Rockets could play like those teams. But unfortunately, the Rockets don't have anything that those offenses need. First..they need a playmaker and initiator. For example...Mike Bibby, Jason Kidd, and John Stockton. Then they need shooters. Like...Matt Harpring, Kerry Kittles, Richard Jefferson, Calbert Cheaney, Doug Christie, Peja Stojakovic, and anyone.
Triangle offense could work with the Rockets. The Rockets should design their offense using the ideas of the Lakers' and Spur's offense. They should work on it in the offseason...when Yao comes back. Of course, that means that the Rockets will need a coach who understands the game.

And defense...well that has to do with coaching and players. We should stay in zone defense all day with Yao and Griffin. But sadly...our guards can't contain ANYbody from penetrating.

We have a good group of players. Adding some more shooters and veterans would be even better.

ANOTHER MAJOR FIX FOR NEXT SEASON IS TO STOP PARTYING. If they stop partying...then they can win the easy games against teams like Cleveland and Chicago. Next season...the Rockets BETTER beat the bad teams. We are a bad team...but still. If we can at least 50% more games against teams with worse records than us...than we will be in the playoffs. Hopefully the players will mature and be more focused and confident because of our new coaches.

Tigereye:- You are using your brains and you are thinking clearly as to the Rockets needs- Point Guard.

With Mobley, he has sporadic fits of dumb. With Walker, it's a lingering ailment. I've watched a handful of Celtics games over the past couple of seasons, so maybe I caught all his bad ones, but Cuttino's stupidity in shot selection can't even begin to compare with Antoine's.

Yeah...that's what I was thinking. Every time I watch the Celtics, Pierce is doing all right and Walker is sucking. I don't know...he isn't that good inside. He tries...but nope. But still. I like his emotion and intensity. At least he looks like he is trying. Unlike uhh...you know.

Well forget Walker. He won't do anything good on our team...

What we need is a coach.
After that...we need some good shooters...that would be even better if they are veterans.
Then...we just need time to develop chemistry.

do whatever you want. I would even tolerate going down to the Clipper land. But for the love of god just get rid of Moochie. I can not take another second of this brainless idiot on the rox uni. Let us burry the mooch with the uniform. Hell bring back Maloney. But Please no more of this piece of ***t. I have beeen following this team since the mid 70's. I have cheered for Buck johnson, John taylor, Allen Level, Frank Johnson, Chuck Nevitt and any other trash Ball player , just because they wore Rox colors. I have never considered not watching them. But if he is back next year. I will not spend a dime to watch this team.

Other trade proposals. Wahtever....Somehow i don't see a management that passed over Rashard, signed Mooch, Cato to big contracts, and gave up so much for Eddie making any smart moves.

So I am just begging you. Don't take my rockets away. Please get rid of this garbage. :(

On a more serious note. As much I hate the guy. I would love to have stockton on this team to show these people how to play the point. Even as a back up for limited minutes.

I can believe i said that.
