Thai Green Curry is the best. I always ask for the really hot one, and if it's too hot I can just add coconut milk.
Spicy curry is a product of the biased western media -- true curry should have the taste and consistency of grainy peanut butter.
I ate at the Taj Mahal once on 45 south and over the next couple of days I developed an intimate relationship with my toilette. Never again.
I like curry, but often times the restaurants make the dishes fattening by adding butter into it. I like the South Indian varieties which are less dependent on butter. You know what rocks: Chaat
Wow. If you can't handle Taj Mahal then do not eat Indian food anywhere else. I loved that place, but after 20+ years they shut down.
Most Americans tend to order Butter Chicken (Chicken Tikka Masala or Chicken Makhini). Anything with the word Makhini (butter) will of course be super fattening. But Chaat does rock!
Cleverly disguised racist thread to find Poonjabi chicks/dudes in CF.net. Stop me when I lie. And no, I have never had "curry" or whatever that is. What's a good cheap and fast restaurant that serves it? None? Pass.
sounds good -may have to try that today for lunch.... ---- anyone been to that place on westheimer called Indika? Any reviews?
