Does anyone do programming for the iPhone? How user friendly is the dev kit you download ($99)? Does it require past hardcore experience?
It's not too tough, but it is proper development, so you'd need programming experience IMHO. You have no need to download the dev kit though, until you want to put it on a phone. You can do all the coding using the free download of XCode, and the simulator on the mac to try out your program. Don't spend the money until you're sure you're up to speed.
