Bloodsport was/ is super -- Van D is actually in a new movie about himself -- it's like a comedy documentary or something. It's actually getting good press I think, but I can't remember the name of it...
The muscles from Brussels!! Bloodsport is the GREATEST movie Van Damme has ever made. Period. Worst movie: Street Fighter, possibly Double Team w/ Dennis Rodman.
Okay, I've seen that nauseating dance sequence 1,000 times, but is it really Van Damme? Also, I can't read the OP or the OP's subsequent posts, but he is so lame that I bet he is ragging on Bloodsport!
This made me a fan of Van Damme but that was when I was young. Growing up, it was bloodsport and big trouble in little China that I would never ever pass on. I bought a couple copies of bloodsport over the years too ahaha. Great movie. I like the soundtrack too.
I recently picked this flick up on VHS at Half Price Books. A true classic. Not enough praise is being heaped on the Belgie "young Frank Dux" in my opinion.
That never gets old... I've actually never seen it but its been on HDnet or one of the HD channels all week...I may have to watch it..
It's that time again. Random Monday Thread bump!! I had a moment of clarity as I was riding the public bus too! <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/C_vaSsF9hx0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
This movie brings back some old memories. I remember watching this movie like 4 or 5 times a week with my babysitter's son as a kid. Loved the blind fight scene.
Stop asking and just watch it. It is a given that every human has watched Bloodsport at least 10 times in their life. Kickboxer and other JVCD movies as well. Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Everything about the movie is perfect. It was carefully crafted to be timeless. That is why the fight scenes and acting will always be some of the best.
If it is possible to enhance the experience, combining two great things, like the best chocolate and peanut butter... <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/tTd7mtr81ww" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
