25 good games >>>>>>>> 1 bad game Lin is young and has the potential to improve. It's not news that he has a great bball IQ and is a hard worker. And last time I checked, hard work usually pays off.... Nash was scrub status his 1st 2 years in the league and now look at him... one of the best. Give Lin time and he'll get there...
Sigmund obviously hates Jeremy Lin, because his girlfriend kept saying Jeremy Lin in her sleep and moaning in an orgasmic way. It's now hurting his male ego, and he's taking his frustration out on Jeremy Lin in a very passive and unproductive manner (I doubt the real Lin would care enough to entertain him). Solid Starter to Star/All-Star: Jeremy Lin
I was never a big Jeremy Lin fan myself, (a lot of that had to do with watching our draft pick go to ****) but I'll be the first to say I think you are taking this a little too far.... He might be a little overpaid, but I'll reserve my judgement on that until I see him play his contract out first. I can get behind J-Lin coming to Houston. We will see how it plays out.
lol ok. D'Antoni allows his guards to control the game. You mean those games that the Knicks won, when he became a starter during that time span? The games when he was averaging 25 and 8, or something along those lines? And I didn't realize Jason Terry, the three-point specialist, was such an expert on the systems of other coaches. Not sure why you needed to put former NBA champ; does that give it more power behind the statement? The reason most PGs get an increase in TOs is because they're asked to do more as they become veterans, in facilitating the ball. If you're a PG, playing just 2 minutes of a game, you might get a statline of 2 assists, 0 TOs. If you're playing 40 minutes, you might go 10/4. It's natural progression. You realize he put on one of his worst performances...against the would-be NBA champions? Not sure what your point is here. No, the wins most people remember, is all of them, seeing as how Lin made his mark on all the games. Go ahead, search "Jeremy Lin show" on google, and re-watch his highlights. Open your mind. He can learn to defend. Still young, still raw in some departments. This is a guy that averaged 25/8, and you're calling him a non-playmaker? Alley-oops to Chandler? Spot on passes to Novak? Come on, bro. Aaaaaaaand we've come full circle. You JUST compared Lin to Nash in your first and opening point. smh Sigmund. smdh.
You're just rehashing what everyone has said about Lin. That he can't do this, or that. No one on this forum is expecting Lin to bring us a championship, or even get us the third seed in the conference, for that matter. What Lin brings us, now, is stability at the PG position, and a fantastic talent to watch. Just sit back and watch Lin be a solid starter at the 1. Don't hate; appreciate!
OMG!!! Lin played bad against the best defensive team and eventual world champions...he must be terrible Get out of here with your trolling. His ball handling is fine.. His jumper is fine... His game is perfectly suitable to be a starting NBA pg.
