How is it too early to ask the question?

Don't even say 'Well, he hasn't even played a game yet.

All we're doing at this point is ASKING A QUESTION.

Worst case - Nick Young on the Wizards

Best case- Sky is the limit. 20+ PPG scoring machine (Reggie Miller)

Probable case- Somewhere in the middle. Probably average 14 to 18 PPG. 4 APG. 3 RPG. (Cuttino Mobley)

What I can tell you is that he will be able to score. The question is how efficient, how competitive he is, and to what level will he do so that helps his team win games most importantly.

He's got huge lack of wingspan and lateral quickness. He can't defend me.

Its really hard to judge how a 23 and 20 year old will pan out defensively. Both are athletic and long for their height so its not like they can't become good defenders.

Are you nuts???? I don't think you remember Tmac on orlando....more explosive first step??? hahhahahahahhahahahah please how old are you? go watch some 2002 or 2003 Tmac footage and tell me he wasn't a better player at that time than Kobe even.....Jeremy Lamb will be like Kevin Martin if it all plays out a well, an awesome scorer, easily drop 30 on any night but no he will not be T-Mac a 6'8 athletic beast who can drop a triple double at any moment and throw down jams on 7'6 centers all while pretending to not even care.

Players that stand out in the Summer League:

Lamb (Reminds me of Rudy Gay and Tmac)
Montieblahblah (i think he's going to be a solid player, always box out when rebound, help defense is great blocking shots; nice offense game from inside)
Royce White? (Also could turn into a good player; strong body)

Lamb is going to be an all star. His frame is broad and he has room to add weight. His offensive game is awesome for such a young player. Lamb/White/Jones/Motie as the future. **** D12.

Lamb needs to play more defense use those freakish long arms. Today, he looked like Kevin Martin.

I dont understand this. When someone says that a certain player is like another certain player. That person is not saying HE IS AS GOOD as that certain player but his style of play is similar to that player. Why do people always misunderstand these statements.
I can say Lamb is like Mcgrady in his style of play. Long, athletic, good shooter, smooth, good finisher... but obviously he is not as good as him or will ever be as good as him.

Those arms help him have some ridic cross overs...he needs to use em more to be disruptive on the perimeter...

Man people really throw numbers out of their ass sometimes, wanna know who in the NBA averaged 25 ppg last season???

    Kevin Durant
    Lebron James
    Kobe Bryant
    Kevin Love

    That's it #5 was 23 PPG

but of course clutchfans is where our mid teens lottery pick is suddenly a 25 ppg scorer after a few summer league games, anyone have threads from when Donte Greene dropped 40 in his summer league debut?

Kobe Bryant was also a mid-teens pick.

Lamb was a top 5 pick for most of the year.

Also go to a general NBA forum and you will still see people saying "Whoa, this Lamb guy is pretty good. How did he drop to 12?"

A more realistic outcome for Lamb in his first season, 13-16 ppg. More or less.

25 is ridiculous, not even Lebron, Durant, Melo, Pierce, Duncan or Shaq averaged 25 in their rookie season.

The question isn't about his rookie year though, it's about in his prime.
