What does that prove? There is a best 1-2 punch in NBA every year, but how many of those are as good as prime Shaq/Kobe?

Should I bring up what Barkley said about Yao before he kissed an ass?

In fact, Yao being one of the best 1-2 punch already exceeded Yao's hype before the draft.

It proves that you were wrong that Yao and Tmac were not hyped up.

I have my doubts you even watched the series.

If this is the first time you ever heard from me, in the year 2011, that Yao and Tmac were hyped as the best 1-2 combo since Shaq/Kobe, then you probably never saw the Rockets play that year .

If you think that Yao is better than Sampson, that's fine, you have a case.

But don't pull this crap that Yao and Tmac were not hyped up. You have freaking people including myself thinking that they were the best duo at that time.

Come on. A had a bunch posts in that series.

They were the best 1-2 punch for a couple years before injury kicks in. It's not hyped up, it's a FACT. They were the best inside-outside combo since Shaq/Kobe for a certain period of time. That is also a FACT.

FACT is not hyped up. Saying them as good as Shaq/Kobe was hyped up. Nobody was hyping them up as on the same level as Shaq/Kobe as i remember.

    You didn't do anything.

choujie is a Yao fan, and has never bothered to look at Sampson. He is a troll.

Very good to at times excellent player.

His lack of balance, predictability, and the fact that he never found an answer to a fronting defense limited him.

-Neutralized, and in fact he was a liability at times in the Utah series. He failed to dominate against one-on-one defense.

-Dominated first game against the Blazers but once Blazers switched to fronting defense thereafter, he was just another one of the Rockets.

-Failed to dominate against the Lakers in the next round. Again, he was just another Rockets player, not a superstar.

Yao destroyed every honest one-on-one defense, including Shaq and Dwight Howard.

He was not good enough to defeat 1 and a half man on him without the ball.

But that makes him a superstar in my book. Not many guys in NBA gets that treatment.

Since when Clutch fans become the source of hype up? If only clutch fans opinion counts, almost every Rockets is hyped up.

I've read clutchfans, and I can honestly say AB was hyped up more than either Tmac and Yao when he was "hyped up" as a top 5 PG in NBA.

What have you been smoking? Even Steve Francis doesn't smoke what you are smoking.

    1. Calling Yao/Tmac best combo in NBA for a couple years,
    2. Calling AB a top 5 NBA PG.

Which one is more hyped up to you?

If your answer is #1, you need to smoke what Francis smokes. He has a better real life sense.

This is your most fair assessment on Yao for a long time.

Yao is neck to neck with Zo in terms of regular season, but Zo has more post season success. Wish both could have a longer career.

Yao is better than Daugherty though. who had Larry Nance to take most of the defensive attention away from him. And he also had Mark Price as PG.

If you think he was going to lie, then why ask the question? That's like challenging someone to a fight when all you're going to do is yell at him and wait for your friends to pull you back.

And honestly, all you've been doing is labelling every other person a
"kid" and disproving their age or whatnot when you yourself have no credible evidence to support your own.

Honestly, you look like one of those 15 year old kids who go around calling other people "kid" as if you deserve respect or something.
