It's not like we didn't get anything for Hampton. Dotel...not a bad pick up...came from that trade. not to mention that we got rid of Derek Bell in the deal. Johnson wasn't staying...PERIOD. He let EVERYBODY know that he intended to go to Phoenix early in the season. That was part of the reason Seattle traded him. Drayton will not let Miller and Oswalt go. He has a history of re-signing our top guys. Bags and Bidge are still Astros because of that philosophy. By the time these 2 pitchers are ready for free agency, that money will be freed up. He'll keep them here.
