Good points, but I do remember a time when the media gave Vince the label of "The next great one" I just think Bron needs to keep up what he's doing AND SOME to wear that crown..

It's too easy to claim that without any legit material to back up. VC brought the Raptors to the second round, and lost to AI's Sixers in game 7 with a missed buzz beater. Are you seriously saying that Antonio Davis, JYD, Morris Peterson and Williams were better than James' supporting cast last year? VC is just a dunker? Before his injury, his jumpshots are more comfortable, he drove and attacked, he rebounded and blocked shots, he got his teammates involved, and he defended as well, although not as good as TMac, but I don't see James defending any better. Sure, James is very good, noone is arguing about that, but he is more complete right now than Carter will ever be? What makes this conclusion? Just because James cannot take a better team going further than Carter did, in the same EASTERN conference? Nowadays, the word "greatness" is just distributed as cheap fortune cookies, it's worthless.

Lebron has already exceeded most people's expectations for him in his first 2 years in the league. I think his goal this year is to get the Cavs into the playoffs and maybe the second round. Anything more isn't realistic or fair at this point.

Lebron is a very GOOD player. He is not GREAT at this moment in his career in my book is he cant lead his team, Cavs, to the playoffs in the Eastern Conference for 2 straight years is way beyond me.

Also, i still think from his look and body builds, LBJ is on steroids for sure :p

Lebron is a good player right now but as others have posted time will tell if he will be one of the greats.

Why does Lebron get TWO initials for his first name? So do we need to start calling T-Mac TCM? Or call Yao YAM? Mmm...yam....
