but this season has been a window of inconsistancy for all the top teams. Celtics lost to Bobcats, and the Wizards twice. Spurs struggling against lower tier teams (albeit with injuries) Suns losing to well Minnesota twice.... These are the ones i remember from the top of my head. Not many teams are blowing them out
The way we are playing is like the SA Spurs. Mediocre through the season and then turn on the afterburners.
Here's a few more.... this year's New York Giants 2006 Pittsburgh Steelers 2006 Miami Heat 1995 Houston Rockets 1988 San Francisco 49ers 2006 St. Louis Cardinals (almost finished below .500)
You can't win a championship with Rafer playing 40 minutes as your pt guard. Does anybody believe Rafer is going to make the key plays in 7 gm series against the Spurs, Mavs, Suns, etc? Hint to DMorey: Sam Cassell, Sam Cassell, Sam Cassell, Sam Cassell....
I'm sorry I post this twice. My computer be running real slow sometimes and I didn't see it on there when I posted it so I post it again.
Yea I can't believe they wom the game. I just knew for sure that NE would find a way to win but they didn't.
I don't think Hayes will be starting any more games for us any time soon. I think his mins. will go down game by game hes just not good enough on the other side of the ball where you have to put it in the rim. I feel bad for him becasue he does work hard and gives 100% but on the other hand if thats what RA need to do so we can win more games I'm all for it.
Somehow Rudy's word was ringing in my ears when watching Eli made that Houdini escape and the awesome pass: "Never underestimate the heart of the champion!!" Hopefully, history might repeat itself for the Rox.
too bad in the NBA playoffs is 7 games so you really have to be better in 4 games and not just a BAM in the first game
