One thing I am sure about is that Yao will be owning him for the first 3-4 years in his career...just like the way he owns Dwight.

    I would say...

A Brandon Roy type who dunks more. He'll eventually develop a better post game and mid-range shot. I don't think he'll be able to range out to 3 pointers.

Okay, now you people are making fun of me. I'll take back the McDaniel comparison, if you take back point guard comparisons to Blake Griffin.

He seems like an antwan jamison type player without the 3 point shooting.

I read an article yesterday (don't remember where) that compared him to Kenyon Martin and Amare Stoudemire. I think he'll be somewhere in between those two guys.

I question whether he'll be a superstud 4, but he will be solid in many respects including and particularly the synergistic effects.

    He is a man.

Thunder has got to be hoping for a LeBron Lotto selection but wonder if he might be best in Charlotte with their coach and team.

Hmmm. Fair comparison but I think he's alot closer to Chris Paul. Because of his suspect shooting, a fair ceiling would be a young Baron Davis.

Neither one of them are as good with the ball as Griffin, he does all the guards drills as well as the big mans.

He is like Charles Barkley in that he can get the rebound and go coast to coast.....he is going to be a very special player in the NBA.

Charles Barkley could be an apt comparison.

He does remind me of Elton Brand as well. Minus the jumper at this point though....

Yea Griffin won't guard Yao, he is a PF in the NBA.

Guy is gonna beast though. I used to think he needed right system, but the more I watched him in college he is more than a stat w****, he is a very solid player.

He could be the second coming of Shawn Kemp.

You can't say that for sure, especially if he ends up in team without a legit C like OKC. We all know Jefferson sucks at C, but he still plays that position in Min because Love is a PF as well.

I was kind of afraid that he was going to be undersized at the 4. I really didn't imagine him being 6ft10. He looks way smaller behind the tv screen...
Anyways, I think he can develop into a Barkley type of player, but without the cockiness (thank god) and with faster feet!

When all is said and done, he could be the best PF of all time. The man is a straight freak. 6'10" 260 and he handles the ball better than the guards. He doesn't miss around the basket, think Carl Landry, but better. The quickness and athleticism is just nuts for a man of his size. He's a developing a turnaround J. The free throw shooting will improve. He's really got a solid stroke. People say he's a Boozer type, but I see Amare Stoudemire with better handles and a desire to play D.
