I don't know about that, but the Rockets can win 60 games for the first time ever if everyone stays healthy and you'd think the presence of Artest will decrease the minutes for Yao and Tracy, which means health should not be as big an issue has it has in years past. I have not been this optimistic about a season since 96-97.
My enthusiasm has taken a serious nose-dive with the news of McGrady's aches and pains and Battier's injury worries. Add to that Alston still being a ? with his ankle (not to mention his game!) and all of a sudden this train could be headed for another first round wreckage. Re: McGrady - since when can Arthritis be solved with surgery
let's just remain optimistic. after yao's dilemma last year, i really can't stand any more talks of injury. with that said, as much as i want to see the rockets in full action NOW, i rather us have a slow and safe start than a disastrous heart-breaking end.
Yep, here we go again with the news about TMac, Battier, Alston, Francis. And I have never heard of a surgical treatment for arthritis. Starting a grueling 82 game schedule all dinged up is not very encouraging. And obviously Yao is not 100%. Optimism is never in order when you are talking about Houston sports of any kind.
I don't think we can fairly match with the MJ's bulls. to be fair. I think we are still a bit below the championship years of the rockets. Tmac is no MJ. MJ is tough and he's all about the team and can take over games all on himself. Tmac can't he is not tough or strong as MJ. MJ has the body of ron ron and better skill set and mindset then tmac. ron ron is rodman and not pippen. Yao is a star that plays like a supporting cast. he is more like pippen but better. collectively our 3 is not as good as Bulls' 3. In a game of 3 on 3, we will get killed.
"In general, surgery may be recommended to arthritis patients to assess the health of the joint or to improve a severely damaged joint. There are several types of joint surgeries, including the following:" etc http://www.rheumatologychannel.com/arthritis/surgery.shtml
This team is not real(that he is talking about)! We aren't the rockects. We are the Rockets. Anyone else catch that?
Arthritis runs in my father's side of the family. His grandfather was bedridden he had it so bad. My one great Aunt has had multiple surgeries in her hands, knees and ankles to repair the joints and relieve some of the pain.
