Just damn! They play physical and their defense is top tier. When D rose comes back, do they have a crack at the Championship? D rose will finally be surrounded by great sg and sf that can knock down 3s.

Miami, Indiana, and maybe Celtics are the only other 3 teams in the East that can get to the finals.

dude, chicago were the favorites in 2010(i think), but they failed to the heat because lebron shut rose down. how has chicago improved since then? you could argue that they are worse depending on rose's condition. and the heat have only improved.

Top 5 teams in the East in my opinion:

    1. Miami
    2. Bulls
    3. Celtics
    4. Indiana
    5. Knicks

Exactly why I asked.. Although, the bulls did get better at the sg position, and had great back up PGs. Luol Deng finally broke out as an all star after Rose left so he has improved.

When Bulls lost with Rose, Rose's teammates suck and he needs help?

they didn't improve that much at the sg position tbqh. and luol deng is not, and did not deserve to be an all star in my opinion. and Deng made the all star team before rose got injured if i remember correctly...

I'd put them as contender if Thibodeau hired an offensive coordinator.

Forget it. The Bulls aren't contenders this year. Rose won't be legit until next season at the soonest.

Exactly. As good as the Bulls are, they aren't going to be better than the Heat.

They need more/better assets to win a 7-game series.

They were fully healthy a couple of years ago and Rose was at his top form in his MVP season and their bench was much stronger than it is today.

And they got destroyed by Miami.

Tom Thibodeau's team overachieves. They look better than they really are. And it shows in the playoffs.

Sounds like y'all are seriously underestimating the magical power of hashtag-based marketing.

If Rose was a more efficient scorer and better playmaker, the Bulls can beat the Heat. But he isn't, and will be coming off an injury.
