Even when everyone was healthy couple of seasons ago, the Wolves played sub .500 ball. In the past two seasons they played .500 or better 4 out of 13 months. Derrick Williams improved, sure. But none of their starters are consistent high-end scorers. The addition of KMart is an accentuation of more inconsistent scoring. They play average total defense at best: Gregory Stiemsma was their leading shot blocker last year, and Wesley Johnson before the year before. Could they improve into a playoffs team? Sure they can. But it would have to be based on a hunch without evidence to support the claim. Which spells to me: Mediocrity, which may net the 7th or 8th seed in East, but in the West, it's the 13th or 14th pick in Lottery.
Rockets Spurs Mavs Warriors Clippers Lakers Kings Blazers Suns Pelicans Grizzlies Thunder TWolves Nuggets Jazz Bold means playoffs RED means out of playoffs. This leaves the bubble teams. Nuggets Mavs Blazers Suns Pelicans Twolves I would say the Nuggets and Blazers are front runners and Suns and Pelicans are on the back end. This leaves Dallas and Minny as middle ground. I would say... 7th- Portland 8th Denver 9th Minny 10th Dallas/PHX/NO
