im serious battier better makes his shots in the playoffs. no one guards alston, hayes, or battier. those 3 guys are prollie the least guarded players in the L. we can't afford for them to shoot 40% and cause the double teams to come harder at mac and yao.

Battier is very consistent. usually after every bad game, he responds in wonderfull fashion. he is one of those guys who watches the tapes of he's bad games and makes rapid adjustments and corrects those mistakes. really Intelligent player. rafer is the exact opposite.

by that logic, why try? Shane should just retire, b/c we all know(just as with the market  ) past performance ALWAYS dictates future performance.

we all can hope for better, but expecting better like it's a given is crazy because there isn't anything that points to that.

i expect t-mac to have better production in the playoffs because he always has better production. i hope yao will be consistently excellent this time around because the last time against the mavs in 2005 he wasn't, so that's why i'm hoping. if it gets to a game 7 i hope t-mac is at his ultimate best because in his last two game 7's he hasn't been.
