Keep digging. We beat San Antonio, Portland (twice), Golden State (road) and Cleveland. Those are all good teams and you clearly don't understand that when your TEAM is playing well (as in Rafer, Shane, Scola, Landry making shots), your star players don't have to get 25 points a night. Oh, and it's actually 11-0
if we survive through the season, you will see dallas/ jazz/wasp is right there. how many chances you think we will win
wow guys, im on a Nets forum right now and the hate they give to VC is almost exactly the same hate people give to T-Mac, except worse. be grateful that we have the lesser evil cousin in T-Mac.
Feel free to go find a Yao Ming message board to whine. Personally, as a ROCKETS FAN, I think if we continue to play TEAM basketball like we have been and if we keep taking advantage of good individual matchups and keep passing the ball well and keep playing GREAT defense and keep getting contributions from our other players and keep hitting open shots like we have been doing for 15 or so games, I think we can play, and beat, anybody. But then again, I watch the games hoping the team does well...not one individual player Maybe that's just me...
What makes you think this guy's a Yao fan? If he was he should be overjoyed--Yao had two really great games back to back.
Because you would have to be to be ripping this team when we are playing so well and after a win. A Rockets fan would be happy at how well we have been playing EDIT: and if he is a TOF fan, my message is the same
If he was kidding then he should have had a (j/k) or big grin sign so we would know he was kidding. If he was my apologies for calling him an idiot. I just get sick of some of these ignorant posters who think they know it all and what makes winning, competitive and dare I say playoff worthy basketball. We need T-Mac to be firing on all cylinders come the playoffs if he has a few off nights during the regular season and he finds a way to help us to victory in spite of that, I'm good with that. The more ways and combinations we can find to find ways to win games the more potent we become come playoff time.
i don't like either of them. yeah, playoff can make me happy and none of them can give it to me. i waited for this moment for seven years. you are sure a tof fan and without heart.
HAHAHAHAHAHA Thanks, that really cracked me up I am a TOF because I am happy that we are 10-0 with our Big Two playing together? I have no heart because I am glad that we are playing well at home and on the road? If you read my posts, I like both of them. But I don't care if they combine for 20 points in a game if we win. You complained that TMac and Yao are not playing well together. That was the first post I quoted. And my response is that we are 11-0 since the knee injury...and I give YAO, Tmac and especially the rest of our team credit for the wins. If you are a Rockets fan, you would be happy that we are beating some good teams as well as teams that are not good (and I don't understand why people discount road wins against bad teams). And 11-0 means that we are winning with them out there regardless of stats. I don't understand why you keep finding more ways to b**** about the team when we are killing it out there. I mean, we just kicked the crap out of Portland, a team competing for a playoff spot with us, and here you are complaining about our star players when we WON.
so you think we won't repeat same mistakes we made before? i don't care 11-0 or 10-0. i care about games with jazz/wasp/dallas. they are foes and we are overwhelmed every time. stop whining.
You dont need to apologize. Internet insults dont really get to me. What I said was outrageous and since there's a lot of posters that post stuff like that all the time, it's hard to tell if someone is joking or not. Sarcasm doesn't work well here. I was just poking fun at certain fans.
I think that with a new coach, a modified system and MUCH better players on the team than last season, that yes, we have the opportunity to do well in the postseason. And it's the Hornets, not wasps I'll stop whining now
I wouldnt call it overwhelmed since they did take 2 series to 7 games. The west is sooo talented right now that its anyones guess how the playoffs will play out. Will Shaq put the Suns over the top? Will Gasol put the Lakers over the top? Will the Roxs gel together enough to get over the top? Will Kyle Kover put the Jazz over the top?
Ok, were cool. At least I know you're one who has common sense and knows a thing or two about basketball and not one of THEM who has their one thumb in their ear and the other up their asses. Honestly, it's been several years since this team has looked THIS good! It would be nice if one of these rooks actually noticed that. I won't hold my breath ...
