What does your brother-in-law do?? Is he in sales or something else?? Is he pretty high up the chain of command at his company?

He spent 20+ years as a programmer for IBM, then left to work on State Farm's national web page, including the pages allowing customers to buy insurance online and stuff like that. State Farm instisted that the designers work from the home office, then made it worth their while to do so. He did this : www.statefarm.com

20 years of buying IBM stock...he's my favorite brother-in-law!

Lakeway... well, at least you'll be going opposite the traffic. Though a lot of it will still be on little winding, twisty roads. I think most people commute in the other direction.

Haven't been there too many times, but it took me between 30-45 minutes to get out there from central Austin. A commute of 20 miles isn't too bad for people who have freeways going straight there, but of course you won't. Try the drive and see if it is something you could do every day.

The worst I've ever had to do was going from north Austin to Belton - an hour each way - but it was only two days a week. Still, it gets expensive when the gas prices are high.

40 minutes, and that is for an internship. Oh, the things I will do to save money.
