    If you had known they were purposely tanking, would you have asked for your money back from the purchased tickets? Although it seems like a great idea in hindsight, because the Rockets landed Olajuwon, the idea probably wouldn't have set well with most fans paying to see the games, especially season ticket holders.

    I lived in Lake Jackson until 1974. I graduated from Brazosport in 1969. I was down there last year for my ffffforty year class reunion...I didn't recognize anyone there...just a bunch of old people showed up. :confused:

    Where 'bouts were you from?

    To be fair, San Antonio already had a championship-caliber team but with the multitude of injuries in 96-97 the Spurs struggled and became a lottery team. Let's not forget, Boston and Toronto had worse records and it didn't turn out so well for them.
