It's not retroactive, you won't get those points when that member becomes green themselves, their grey reps that they left will stay grey, it's their reps after they become green that will have points to it.

Basically, contributing members who haven't been repped yet are just walking around with empty bullets, so to speak.

 

I think all contributing members should have some rep just for contributing.

i agree i try to rep any contributing member I see that has no rep just so that if/when they do try to leave any rep for other users they actually can do so. I usually just rep them anonymously though I think it should be something others do as well so there is a time when were anyone who makes a solid posts does not go unrewarded for it and also it allows the contrib member to be more active as well. If he/she knows they cant leave rep point it probably deters them from giving rep in the first place which defeats the purpose of the system

 

I need to make a conscious effort to throw more rep around. I sometimes forget that I can.

Do we even know the max total? 10? 20?

Working backwards, I would assume Dream is the max while Rudy T and Moses are close to the max. So, if only 10, that would put Yao in the high middle.

(It seems like the categories appropriate for Max and OT have been passed, but I would be proud to be OT at some point.)

 

So, has the rep been extended to selective "members" because I think I saw itsmyfault in the hangout rep another poster (I could be wrong though.... Can't remember the thread)?
