I will take their next 10yrs over the Rockets. They have young players who are only going to get better plus they have a championship coach and a front office that knows how to build a championship team.

They have an organization that has a decent GM. A President of Basketball Operations in Pat Riley that has a great basketball mind. A coach that demands excellence. Jimmy B is also extremely under rated. Soooo uhm ya.. They also play team ball not iso ball...

Jeannie Buss basically gave him the keys to the franchise. Every move that's been made got LeBron's stamp on it. It also doesn't hurt to have your childhood friend represent 1/3 of the roster either.
I just found out there was an NBA finals game today by reading this thread. Screw this year. I'm not watching a single finals game. Crown the Fakers already. Well seeing that The Warriors beat us 4 times, and have been the thorn in our side for the past few years I would say we would have been to the finals if it wasn’t for them. Their championship runs have been through us every damn time.
Pat Riley is who Daryl Morey wishes he was. instead of drafting late lotto guys like Herro, Bam, or finding gems like Nunn, Robinson, Morey trades away picks for luxury tax savings. jimmy butler knew what he was doing. Imagine him walking out of a meeting with Morey and then meeting with Riley. One guy is accomplished, the other is a wannabe that likes to talk big but constantly fall up short. There is no comparison.
People chucking it up to the East have not watched them play, are lazy and following a media narrative or just haters. The Heat have a star who truly brings a gritty, play defense and tough mentality. Then they have a balanced roster, actually have shooters and a team with size and a system where people touch the ball and all can contribute. They don’t need Butler to go nuts to win. Also a coach who knows how to win big helps.
