She gave him a BJ initially but Kobe got annoyed because she "didn't know what she was doing". And there is nothing homosexual about having anal sex with a girl, most virgins seem to think so though.

My understanding is that every shot gets counted in the final score. Am I mistaken?

Shaq was the MVP of those teams. Kobe was the key #2 as Pippen was to Jordan, but Shaq was the unquestionable leader. The stats before show a slam dunk case of it, Shaq was why that team was dominant.

Kobe is a great player, Tmac is a great player. Neither deserve mention with MJ, Magic, Bird, Hakeem or Shaq (or Duncan), multi playoff MVPs. They are more in the company of Wilkens or Drexler or Pippen--great swingmen, but nowhere near the resumes of the best at their position.

I agree it is debatable, but you could also say Lebron already has a case for being the better basketball player than Kobe (as well as Tmac) because being a leader and getting your teammates behind you 100% is part of being the best basketball player you can be. Just because Lebron may lose a 1 on 1 game to Tmac or Kobe doesn't mean he isn't the better team player. If he beats Detroit (which I would have thought unfathomable 2 weeks ago honestly) he has a very strong case for being the best non-big since Jordan because playoff success with a team on your back is a key criteria.

what did shaq said right after he came to miami? that he'd bring a ring there. i remember he was dressed in white when he said this. why is wade the main component then? i'll give it that he's old now and probably can't keep his promise. but when he came to miami, that was only a year after he won 3 straight rings and was still effective like he used to be.

he was already in his 8th season in 99-00, when he got his first ring. why couldn't he lead the lakers to anything before that, having played there for 3 seasons already? kobe was only a bench player his first 2 seasons. not his fault he wasn't given a chance. while shaq came in as a first round pick and was already put to use since his rookie season. also, kobe was only 21 (lebron's current age) when he won his first ring with shaq. why does shaq score more than kobe in the playoffs? because kobe shares the ball more come playoffs.

i remember the series against portland when it was game 7 or 6. it was a very tight series. towards the end, kobe made this nice assist to shaq for this dunk that won the game. and shaq looked very excited and ran toward kobe with his hands in the air. so was it shaq's dunk or kobe's pass that won that game?

yes it is when you completely ignore the front. you don't treat it like it's a replacement, it's a bonus.

It were the Blazers, Spurs, Kings who were the toughest in Lakers' playoff run. Particularly in 01, when Kobe torched Spurs for 38pts and a sweep.
76ers weren't anything near Spurs caliber although they did win one.

There is no question Kobe was instrumental to the Lakers championships. But there was no question Shaq was the center of it. Further, when Shaq started fading (particularly in defense and rebounding) that is when the Lakers were very good, but not championship level (losing to the Spurs and Pistons). Kobe becoming a greater player could not compensate for Shaq becoming a less great player--that tells you right there who was the centerpiece.

Shaq was the centerpiece to the Lakers 3 peat just as Jordan was to the Bulls titles, Hakeem to the Rockets titles and Duncan to the Spurs. Doesn't mean other players didn't contribute and hit big shots, but there really is no doubt who was the most important player and the reasons over those 14 titles with 4 teams there were 4 MVPS. Some great players were not MVPS--Kobe, Pippen, Drexler, and DR--but none of them got gyped out of anything because they were all second fiddles. Kobe belongs in these guys company (Pippen, Drex, & DR), not with the multile championship winning MVPs from the 80s on (Magic, Bird, Jordan, Hakeem, Shaq & Duncan).

Shaq isn't nearly what he was at his peak during the Lakers three-peat and for 2 years now the Heat are battling for a spot in the finals. When he was young he went to the finals with Penny. In his prime he won 3 championships with Kobe. In the latter part of his career he's battling for a chance to go to the finals with Wade. Kobe on the other hand has missed the playoffs completely and been bounced out in the first round. Shaq is a super impact player that instantly makes the team he joins a contender.
