The fit of Amen and KPJ is a real head scratcher for me in the backcourt, I thought the org was really high on KPJ as a point guard. What does this mean for KPJ? How does he fit into all this? Will he move to 6th man off the bench? Will he start at the 2 over Jalen Green? I'm really unsure how this is going to work, I'm curious to hear what yall think.
He won't. Amen will start and KPJ will be the 6th man off the bench. No more bullshit PG play from that bum KPJ.
I don't think it's all that relevant. KPJ's time as point guard is done regardless of anything else that happens this offseason. He will be backup SG or starting SF or he will be playing for a different team
I don't think Ime sees KPJ as a pg for this team. So I don't think Amen has anything to do with that. I think they were going to find a replacement at the pg either way.
If Stone is a Jalen or Sengun only fan KPJ will be traded. If Ime is a Jalen or Sengun only fan KPJ will be benched.
As pretty much everyone else has said, if the team goes into the season without a vet PG, Amen will likely be the starter with KPJ as the sixth man. KPJ is an above average player, but he's not a PG in any way, shape, or form. Dude has the potential to be the best sixth man in the league though, and I'm confident the org will see it that way as well.
Fans have been saying for 2 Seasons that KPJ should come off the bench and he is hurting Jalen Green and Alperen Sengun Development and Offense. Ime Udoka Thankfully is Smart to Recognize this by watching 10 games in watching Games and saw it Live.
I expect both or at least Amen to come off the bench eventually Amen/Green/KPJ/Bari/Sengun will probably be the starters in a season or two. Amen will probably size up bigger SF on defense We’ll see how the KPJ/Tari battle for starting turns out
