I was debating this with someone yesterday... Do you typically use the word "faded" to describe being drunk or do you use it to describe being high on weed/drugs/etc. I have always used it to as a synonym for being "drunk", but according to Urban Dictionary it can be used to say one is high. So my question is how do you typically use the word? What does the BBS say??
After I wash a bright colored shirt to many times, I describe it as faded. Also happens to my blue jeans.
Interesting. I have never really heard of the word until that song "*****s in Paris'" by Jay Z and Kanye came out. Since then, at several parties, I've had plenty of people come up to me if I want to get "faded". In my case, they meant getting high off weed.
Edit: Of course I heard of the word faded lol. I mean I've never heard it be used in those ways (getting high, getting drunk)
I am the definitive authority on this term, and it is blatantly unacceptable to use it to describe either of those situations. CASE CLOSED.
Your reply is also very appropriate for this thread. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=177280

When I moved to California 10 years ago, everyone was talking about getting faded and I didn't have a clue what they were talking about at first. Guess it has just been moving across the country the last 10 years?
So divine, hell of an elevator, All the while, my fortune faded, Never mind the consequences of my Wildest time, my fortune faded.. thats how i use it and if you dont get this, shame on you
A friend of mine from California uses it all the time, before I heard it from him I'd never heard it either.
