I really like what I saw from Spencer Hawes when the Sixers played against the Rockets. I'd like to see more before I jumped on the bandwagon though.

My choice would be for Kendrick Perkins. He's all about defense, has the height of a center (6-10), and can handle his own against some of the best centers in the league (Howard, Bynum).

Hopefully he returns to form after knee surgery.

    close....

but, this question is going to haunt us until it's resolved. I don't mean someone that needs to be developed like Thabeet, but someone that's a legitimate 7 footer and can contribute right away...

so what are our clear options this summer? who do we give up? do we look for someone that's a "half-ass" center or someone thats a "powerhouse"

Asik would be a decent upgrade... how do we go from there by getting someone again who is not "that one", a "powerhouse"

are the rockets going to be the mid level team next season again? is Les seriously looking for a team that is a championship contender? Does Daryl seriously look for a "star" player?
