Nice, durvasa. You actually had me fooled through your first two posts.

I suggest we impose a moratorium on spelling any poster's name correctly on this BBS who cannot correctly spell "Andersen". Give them a taste of their own medicine until they can learn to respect their beloved Rockets players.

It's a well-known fact that durvasa is a diehard Daved Andersun fan, bro.

I find it annoying to read names or words that are misspelled, over and over and over. It's just extra noise for my brain to process. How big a deal it is depends on how your brain is wired, I suppose. By the same token, I find posts in ALL CAPS, posts in italics, or posts in Chinese to be annoying.

    Ahh.

One thing I do a lot is type Mcgrady instead of "McGrady". Is that OK?

I've seen "Aaron Brook", "Dikembe Mutumbo", and "Chuck Hays"...and then there's the infamous "Yoa Ming". :D

Don't forget "Juwon Howard" as if his name were an abbreviation of "olaJUWON"

    Because you're trying too hard.

Everyone should know it's Andersen. This thread should confuse and correct anyone who still spells it "O", "N". One thread in the GARM about this topic should have been created weeks ago n...

All of that is fine, so long as I'm not seeing it 20 times a day. :)

What is the problem with spelling Undersen's name?

No really - try Googling "David Undersen"

The results make me think that should be an acceptable spelling?

whateva the official traditional or whatever formal spelling david has for his last name...we probably just should all go freestyle with the spelling of his name...e.g. Ander$!N

Im not sure most people here being Americans know about Australian history...not that the aussies promote that part of their history too much...plus...wasn't it the English that sent and dispatched the convicts? Not the Danes?
