IMO the fear most people have is not that Obama is a black president but that he is a very bad president, perhaps even worse than Jimmy Carter, perhaps the worst ever.

Again with the irrational, unsubstantiated fear.

    I just don't get it

"Birth identification" is not the same as an actual birth certificate. However, as I have said, "who cares?" Obama was elected President and nothing will change that. The whole thing is an idiotic argument, which, I suppose, is why you are so energized by it.

Mc mark, Obama's contradictions are legendary. He has done everything he said he was against. He has spent us into oblivion without anything to show for it. The economy is in shambles, even worse than under Bush the Younger. Obamacare likely will prove unconstitutional. There is no area, other than public speaking, where is not pathetically inept.

So, do you think this tempest in a teapot has value or validity?

That photo or whatever it is has been disputed many times over. Yeah, by birthers - but he'd do himself and the rest of the world a favor by producing the real deal. Then there would be a non-issue. Is that too much to ask? Why does he continuously dodge this?

Personally, we are where we are, so I'm not bothered either way. The 'birthers' have a point. But they tend to pound it into the ground and make themselves look like a$$e$. Produce the Real Deal. I can produce mine and I didin't bank 1.7m last yr and my $5 at the County clerks office will easily get er done.

Don't pull a vlaurelio. You're the one being obtuse about this, not me.

Your reply, other than the vlaurelio jibe, is beyond my understanding. As I have repeatedly stated, the issue is without value. Only the people who argue it one way or the other give it validity. That is why I asked that question of you.

And we're back to the traditional thumbs dodge-a-thon. You state "the issue is without value" and yet repeatedly tacitly endorse the birther viewpoint, dodging, and then endorsing it again.

You can't have it both ways. Either it is without value (as you say) and there is no need to "show me the money", or the opposite.

Try being honest one of these days.

He doesn't need to produce squat... this is America, where you are innocent until proven guilty.

    a) He's under no legal obligation to do so.
    b) Obviously, there is no reason to think a "birther" would believe his certificate is real either.

Conclusion: It's a dumb game for dumb people. Obama is not dumb.

Former state Health Director Chiyome Fukino has said several times she has personally inspected President Obama's birth certificate twice. In an interview earlier this month she said claims Obama was not born here are "ludicrous" and "silly."

I honestly don't care about the issue one way or the other. Even if I did care, I can't prove the validity of one side or the other. Therefore, I like to aggravate both sides because neither can "show me the money," i.e., prove their argument.
