I for Incomplete. It's all up to Greene. He is immature, will he show the work ethic which he needs to do to become a good NBA player? Does he have a good IQ? Will he become the next Stro? He has upside and talent but I wonder if he will turn out to become a volume shooter and nothing more if he doesn't improve. I don't mind a project with upside as long as I feel he has the will to become a good player.

    I was borderline B and C...but I went with C.

If we were going to pick a project (Greene) I would have liked someone with a more well-rounded game. I like the Dorsey pick because he projects really well statistically as a bruising PF.

Went with the upside guy in Greene, who I think in a few years can be a 15/7 guy. But this will all depend if Greene utilizes his athleticism and size to post more often and drive to the basket more often. Joey Dorsey was decent pick, an enforcing PF that, I would imagine, would go great with Yao Ming. Plus there's the addition that Dorsey could represent Houston in the dunk contest.

no, but aaron brooks as a back up PG? ehhh, sorry if I don't bust out into a mecca of cart-wheels. He wasn't great, you need to quit lying to yourself. He was streaky at best.

Arthur was the BPA,I was concerned with his low rebound numbers but I would have retained him if I felt that he was healthy. He has a good feel for the game..

At least a B. A if we could've pulled off a trade to get Rush, but the fact that Morey screwed over the Spurs by picking Batum at 25 makes this another successful draft.

I gave it a B. It was alright, but I kinda wish we would've kept Batum and seen what he could do. I'd be really angry if somewhere along the line he turns into another Rudy Gay. But I'm really looking forward to see what Greene and Dorsey have to offer. (assuming the proposed trade is actually official)

Same here except I gave a bit more benefit of the doubt and went with B.

Given the overall wheeling and dealing, Morey deserves an A+++. He moved down 3 spots to get a guy they wanted all along, and ended up with 2 more 2nd rounders. Hard to top that. As far as the basketball aspect, that will remain to be seen.

I'd give him an A. If he could turn that #54 pick into Mario Chalmers then it's got to be A+. Dorsey at 265 lb. can be a reserve centre in the Ben Wallace mold.

I'll give the draft an A-
Donte Greene had "ALOT" of potential
Joey Dorsey is athletic for his size great draft

The question is now what do the Rockets do?

i really wish they kept arthur. next year's draft isn't supposed ot be as deep and 2nd round baits are never really that strong. why shy away from a player that was really lottery quality? if we wanted potential, why not get deandre jordan who is incredibly more potential then green (Although greene is better prepared to play now)...i wanted arthur and it makes me sad that we past him up. for some reason, i feel like he's another rashard lewis/gilbert arenas....coming into the league with a chip on his shoulder and is gonna tear it up

    I'd say an A+

How much better could it have been for late first and a 2nd rounder? We got baby t-mac and baby ben wallace. I couldnt be happier. ;)

My thinking as well. This was supposed to be a shallow draft after the lottery picks, so all of this wheeling and dealing might amount to arranging deck chairs on the Titanic. But we traded one low first pick for three similar picks. Odds are one of them will stick.

    Grade it a B.

Is it me or did we essentially make a 3 team trade with the main ingredients already agreed upon in like 15 minutes?! GENIUS!!!!!

We were all wheeling on CDR, and I in particular liked DeVon Hardin... Oh well, it's a B so far, but if Morey pulls another Landry out of Greene, instead of a Gerald... That's to be seen.

I have no reason to believe Green or Dorsey are ready to play serious ball for us, both need serious coaching and someone to get their heads right first. We had Darrell Arthur fall right to us..TWICE..and moved him out. He's ready to play. He can play the 3 and give us size. Unless this whole kidney business is truly serious, I come away feeling we messed up.

I did like the cold cockblock on the Spurs. Again though, I have big questions about Green's readiness. He seems to have all of McGrady's bad traits, and very few that I would want to see in a role player. Dorsey is a beast, but has really poor bball IQ and an unreliable drive.

I would have much preferred Arthur or even CDR.

I gave it a B. I like the upside that these guys can turn out similar to Rashard Lewis and Ben Wallace. I wanted a tall shooter and got him. I've wanted a bruiser to protect Yao for a few years and am happy that this might be him.
I also love that we apparently screwed up the Spurs plan.
