Big road trip wins against championship caliber teams.

    Winning more close games.

    Defensive intensity.

Most importantly we react positively to bad calls. Lsss whining.

My personal vote I think we're a championship caliber team now.

    Your thoughts.

Toughness wise -- a 4, we fight hard every night, but we simply don't have the talent to go deep enough in the playoffs.

No doubt, they have picked up the pace. Dragic has a lot to do with that, Scola too, they are relentless. Camby is also a huge reason for the last week or two. A Dalembert seems a bit more animated since Camby came. Parsons is solid defensively. Rockets are clicking.

Above average, but not championship quality, so I guess that's a 4.

They didn't start out this way in the beginning of this shortened season, so it may be a bit early to start attaching labels. It may be worthwhile to revisit this after the playoffs.

Still, this team has toughened up a whole lot from what it has been the last decade or so. That's a pretty big accomplishment that just gets hidden in a "4".

it's very good. And If the league allowed rockets players to play more physical like they allow their little divas to semi hand check, bump and even crotch punch, then it would be championship quality.

I mean how many times have you seen our players hold their position, arms straight up only to hit us with the foul.

I like that camby doesn't take crap from anyone and that scola, goran and dalembert tend to piss every other player not wearing a red jersey off.

Thanks to Scola. he's the real deal when it comes to toughness.

Also, Goran and our two centers who bring some presence inside defensively.

this is a big upgrade from Yao and tmac era.

I've always believed that the Rockets are tough. Some people think they are soft because they don't retaliate. But this bunch is gritty, never say die, never back down.

Losing Kevin was the best thing that happened to this team. All the softness left with him

Earlier in the season was disappointing, we were SOFT as hell! Now we've really become a TOUGH, hard nosed team! And I love it!

But let's be real, championship contenders? I'm sorry but there's just no way.

You don't need to flop to beat us, the NBA will make sure the superstar gets the call no matter if they have to call phantom fouls.

The lack of NBA superstar name is what is holding us, you definitely need a superstar in your team for David Stern approval to win a championship

Would like to see more nastiness out of this team. I thought Patterson could be that guy this year, since he's got the build and the facial expressions for it, but didn't happen.

Pat said he looked up to Chuckwagon, he should pattern his game after him, except with a deadly mid-range and competent free-throw shooting.

I don't think we're a championship caliber team yet, but we absolutely have championship caliber mental toughness... almost across the board.

    Gotta love this group.

There is a reason this current Rockets team has made terrific come from behind wins against top teams: it is tough as nails.

No matter if we are down 15 points in the 4th quarter, a team comprised of Scola, Dragic, Lee, Camby, Parsons will come at you over and over, until they break you. Ask the Thunder and the Lakers.

The addition of Lowry will only makes even tougher.
