Draft beer in a pint glass, with as small a head as possible. I love Dutch beer, English beer, German beer, Irish beer, Danish beer... on tap, please. Man, I really love good beer. I'd drink copious amounts of it, on a regular basis, if my body could handle it. Lipitor and alcohol, for me at least, just don't mix well together.
At a ball game. I NEVER drink beer unless i"m at the ball game, and then I only drink it if I didn't sneak some rum in.
When I was a kid, Chris Keson told me that snorting beer would get you more drunk. I snorted a lot of beer. I still sneak a sniff in the bar from time to time. I don't think it gets one more drunk, but it sure does tickle.
Each style of beer has a glass to go with the corrisponding style. For instance, strong or old ales should be served in a brandy snifter so as to capture and concentrate there aromas. Most Belgian dubble and triple's should be served in an oversized wine glass or goblet so they can contain the huge rocky heads associated with those styles. While the American light lager ie: Bud, Miller, Coors (all rancid swill in my book) should not be served in a glass at all but rather poured down the drain.
You are right, there is almost nobody like me here. I used to not drink because my trainer didn't want us to drink. That was one reason, but the most importent reason is that i do not like what alcohol does to you. I do not want to lower my tresholds, because they are my tresholds for a reason, I also do not like if i do not have full control over my actions. I also cannot stand the fact that alot of people i know can only enjoy themselves if there is beer. I do not need alcohol to have fun. I just do not like the effect of alcohol on a person. (i should also mention that i do not like the taste of alcohol). Drugs is the same for me as alcohol. I do not like the effect of it on people. People change to much if they are drunk or stoned.
I prefer a pint glass or mug, but bottles are okay as well. The only can that I'll drink out of is Sapporo I guess......just cause it looks sort of cool
Yes, if the beer you're drinking ends in 'Light', it usually tastes better from a bottle, because those beers need to be as cold as possible. But some beers are kind of like wines, they need to be poured to let the yeast dissolve and let the aroma fully come out. So, if you're drinking a nice Hefeweisen or IPA, you should pour into a wide rimmed beer glass, but if drinking Miller Light, drink from an ice cold bottle.
you better believe it. when you do that with liquor (preferably whiskey) it's called a JFK shot, because it feels like you're blowing the back of your brain out. i've done several of these - already being pretty sloshed seemed to be a recurring factor - and they do indeed get you considerably drunker faster. they also hurt like all holy-hell for about 20 seconds. the ablcohol is practically going directly into your bloodstream, bypassing the time and alcohol loss through digestion. like snorting anything else really.
Bullsh*t. Draft beer is as good as it gets. However, if I'm drinking beer at home, I gotta go with a bottle. Canned beer tastes like ass...
to each his own deck, but you do realize that europeans drink their beer with a healthy head on top, right? they probably know the best way to drink their own beer.
