For a long time I would get a foot long (usually classic italian or bmt) with provolone. After it toasted and they asked what else I wanted on it I would say "just lettuce." -- Without exception, they would look up at me and repeat "Just lettuce?" and I would re-repeat "just lettuce." It got annoying, to a point where I quit going to Subway for a while. I recently tried the grilled chicken on 8 oat (or whatever its called) bread and was pretty satisfied. I also got green peppers in addition to the lettuce just so they wouldn't repeat, befuddled, "just lettuce?!?!.
da_juice, meet Ronny. Ronny, meet da_juice. Be careful Ronny, or you and the next blonde European you are banging will ended up murdered in your garage while da_juice ruins a Rocket game while racing down I-10!
Footlong Veggie on Italian Herbs and Cheese : Lettuce Spinach (if they have it) Tomatoes Onions Olives Cucumbers Banana Peppers (if I'm in the mood) Bell Peppers American & Swiss cheese split A little bit of ranch Salt, pepper, oil & vinegar Lightly Toasted It's the sandwich of the Gods.
Its always funny to me how other people like to judge how you should get your food. I hate the "That's all?" or if I order I burger and ask for no mayo/tomato/onion. "So you want a burger with just cheese and lettuce?"
This Shouldnt matter to them if they are NOT the ones eating it. That is all Thats why I'm ignoring it. It started subway and ended up way of topic. What people eat have nothing to do with a lady getting TKOed for Jay walking, an Arab, and a suicidal person. Its not worth it. I hate stereotypes. All black women try to live off the government getting welfare, food stamps, wearing loud colored weaves. Spoiler I don't like greens or chitterlins, I don't drink coolaid, and I barely eat cornbread. No kids no tattoos. I listen to classical music when I'm not listening to jazz. I hate rap, but I do love good hiphop. You would rarely hear a profane word come out of my mouth. I pay rent, light, gas, water, phone, internet, and cable by my damn self unless I'm short, then will ask my mom for help but thats not too often. Celibate. I wear my own hair unless it's for a special occasion but you will never be able to tell its fake. Best of all I'm about to have a degree in Biology minoring in chemistry. Oh and I'm 23. This guy obviously wants attention and I'm done here.
Hell yes!!! Now that they have avocado AND spinach I think I'm gonna be going to Subway more. I shouldn't like it...I always tell myself I could make a better sandwich at home at a fraction of the price. But this concoction I had today - veggie max on wheat with extra spinach, tomato, onion, banana peppers, avocado, light mayo and mustard - was one of the awesomeist sandwiches I've had in quite sometime. I think there's some strange quality about the smell of their bread that I love. Just funny to think how that smell was probably concocted in a factory off the New Jersey turnpike. But I digress...I am so glad Subway is now offering my favorite fruit. :]
foot long italian bmt with cucumbers, lettuce, onion, southwest ranch. ****ing delish i want subway now
Sounds good, but I'm not a fan of their bread. My favorite sandwich of the moment is from Which Wich, a vegetarian black bean patty with: Spoiler Highly recommended.
