Omg, making me hungry. Haven't had any food yet today. Just a starbucks iced coffee with no sugar. And a monster low cal.

As for subway, I usually get an itlaian bmt on 9 grain wheat. Lettuce, tomato, green pepper, spinach, and cheddar cheese. With a little bit of the chipotle southwest sauce.

    Oh, and toasted ofcourse.

I went to Subway for the first time in a year or so recently and I don't know how the hell I ever enjoyed their sandwiches. It was really awful. So many better options out there like Schlotzsky's, Firehouse, or Potbelly. I think their good marketing department has fooled a lot of people into thinking they have edible food.

I only read the first page, so I'm not sure if it's been mentioned, but I imagine some of you posting in this thread would be amazed by the caloric and fat content of your sandwiches considering what you put on them...

As for me, it varies from day to day since I eat there so much (they're all footlongs)...

    - Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki w/ lettuce, pickles, banana peppers, and pepper (no cheese)

    - Oven Roasted Chicken Breast w/ lettuce, pickles, banana peppers, jalapenos, and either mustard or sweet onion sauce (no cheese)

    - Turkey and Ham w/ lettuce, pickles, banana peppers, jalapenos, and mustard (no cheese)

and everyone once in a blue moon, I let myself slide...

    - Meatball Marinara w/ american cheese, small amount of light mayo, and parmesan

If I get chips and a drink it's always baked Lays of some flavor, and an unsweet iced tea or Coke Zero.

lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, cucumbers, onions, banana peppers, bell peppers

mustard, honey mustard, pepper, vinegar (small amount)...

    that wraps it up.

What is the focus of your "health reasons", if you don't mind disclosing that?

I only ask because you can at least get regular mustard if you want it. It's 0 calories. If you're concerned with fat, try a 6" oven roasted chicken breast w/ veggies and mustard. That'll probably satisfy you more than a veggie delight, will only run you 4.5 grams of fat, and you'll get a significant amount of protein (which will help to satisfy your appetite).

But maybe it's a blood pressure / sodium thing, in which case I understand completely.

I don't go too healthy when I'm at Subway.

    Footlong Roast Beef on White

    - American Cheese
    - Toasted
    - Lettuce
    - Onions
    - Ranch
    - Mayo
    - sometimes tomatoes

yep, its cause i have high blood pressure and cholesterol. i used to get mustard every now and then but i'm already so used to it plain that i just eat without it.

also, i agree with you that the amt of stuff some people put on their sandwiches probably doesn't make it much healthier than going to mcdonalds. i would be interested to see the difference actually.

I like mine on Monterey Cheddar, chicken teriyaki...not toasted please.

American cheese, lettuce, extra tomatoes, light peppers, light onions, 4 black olives, salt & pepper, oil & vinegar, and then extra extra sweet onion sauce.

And then on some days :: White bread, meatballs, American cheese, and Parmesan cheese!

Here's an example from the front page...

61 grams of fat. Throw in a bag of chips or just one cookie, and you're looking at 70+ grams.

By comparison, a Double Quarter Pounder w/ cheese and a medium order of fries at McDonalds?

    61 grams of fat.

Most often I get a footlong roast chicken breast on honey oat with cheddar and toasted. For toppings I go for spinach (if they have it), tomatoes, onions, green peppers, cucumbers, olives, jalepenos and spicy mustard.
