How do you feel when you have to miss a rockets game because of your job?

I got lucky. Aidan loves watching the games. In fact, he loves the game so much that he fusses when the commercials come on.

I just keep telling him that I hate the commercials too, but that is the only way we have "free" TV.

 

No kidding. Just avoid seeing the score before you get to watch. Once I know the outcome (especially if it is a loss) I am not nearly as interested in watching the game.

 

Working in theatre I miss Rocket games on a regual basis, because we are doing shows or in rehearsal. I used to sneak out the stage door at intermission to try and catch the score. I have 4 VHS tapes I keep in rotation - I still haven't seen last weeks Toronto game. We open now just before the playoffs, so I'm excited to watch this year.

 

I feel bad for all of you that can't watch every game.

but I have a solution......since I tape every game and have them in digital format on my computer...just give me a yell if you want to see one of them, and we can make arrangements.

Only ReplayTV is as good as Tivo, and IMO, it is better.

 

I'll have to take your word for that.

I don't use either one.

a capture card and a huge amount of hard drive space on my computer takes care of it for me.

 

I used to never miss a game until this year ... now I really don't care.
