Without Yao dominating the post, it'll depend on TMac and his creaky back to drive in and take one for the team.

Rafer likes to drive in too... Hey look! A cloud!

I don't care who we match up with, I really think we've got a realistic shot to get out of the first round. The balance that we lacked last year has been a strength of this team this year, even without Yao.

As long as nobody disappears in the playoffs and McGrady does his thing (one of the best playoff performers in the league among active players, despite the monkey on his back), we can get out of the first round.

    Book it.

    Yah...

There are some good matchups for us in the playoffs, but that doesn't guarantee anything either.

The team is better than last year, and that's the main thing. Let's just see waht they can do in the playoffs, and then look forward to a full-strength and more experienced team next year.

I'm optimistic but pessimestic at the same time. I've seen this team play stellar at times during the streak but after the streak it's been up and down, they really need to get a good stretch of strong play to make me feel better heading into the playoffs.
