Is it crazy to think that Jalen Green has been the Rocket's best player since February? Roughly 20 ppg on almost 50% shooting.

This is why you tank for top talent above all else

The Knickerbockers are winning with no chance at the lowly Play In seats.

Talking about valiant effort to sabotage tanking.

    stupid is as stupid does...

this org cant even get its head outta its a** long enough to simply lose...

like when Harden pushed us into the playoffs (promptly losing in the first round) - and it cost us a frp from the Lawson trade... but hey, Les n Morey got to keep their playoff streak alive... that n $5 will get them a frappucchino at Starbucks...

    new leadership... same stupidity... smh...

The Orlando Magic closed their game with Brazdeikis , Admiral Scofield, Okeke, Mo Wagner and Dowtin.

    The Thunder are playing gleaguers.

The Rockets and Pistons are doing this right and deserve pick 1 and 2. These other teams aren’t fielding NBA teams.

The Rockets for the season have not played Wall, did not acquire a PG, played Green when he wasn't ready early in the season, and haven't played with rim protection. I don't think Rocket fans should be upset other teams may be currently better tankers.

The Rockets may not be as good at tanking right now as other teams, but that is mostly having the better bottom of the roster and playing Green.

That's not tanking. John Wall played last year on the worst team in the NBA until he got injured. He didn't want to be KPJ's backup. He is not adapting to his situation and he never has.

Jalen Green is the future of this team and needs all the minutes he can get. Sengun should have played 30MPG all year. That's what rebuilding teams do. If you win? cool you are developing young guys for the future. If you lose? cool, you are getting a higher pick theoretically.

The Rockets went into the season hoping that KPJ was the future at PG. You have to try it to see if that's accurate. They had DJ Augustin as his backup and when they didn't see him here long term they brought in Schroder. How did the Rockets not acquire a PG? You are literally incorrect on this statement. The Rockets should have allowed Nix to have all of the Schroder minutes and really seen what they had with him this year and that's what they are going to do now.

The Magic and Thunder are resting rookies and putting in their worst lineups. What those two teams are doing is disgusting and they should be fined because it just shows that flat odds is nothing but a term.

The NBA needs to revert the lottery back to the other way because it allows teams who are legitimately bad not to be screwed out of a high pick. Finishing fourth worst and ending up with the 8th pick is terrible. Maybe allow one team out of the top 5 to enter into the top 5 with lottery odds and if it happens let the other 5 enter into a drawing at flat odds for the remaining picks (once again if a lottery team outside of the bottom 5 pulls one of those first 5 positions, you always start by drawing 1 then moving back even though the telecast starts at 14). Falling to 7/8 and being one of the worst teams is just not sensical.

I can feel however I want to about how the Rockets are handling this and so can you. I don't need you to tell me not to be upset. I'm not mad at the Rockets, they are doing it the right way. They are giving young guys good minutes. They should have been doing this earlier and wins would have felt better. This isn't tanking, it's literally YEAR 1 of a rebuild. Tanking is pulling out your starters in a close game in the fourth quarter because you are trying to lose.

Premature and over reaction by fans as usual. As per recent reporting the Rockets have deactivated Gordon, Wood, and Schroeder to assess the rookies (Nix, Garuba) and perhaps also to get a better probability at a lottery pick.

You can feel however you want, but that doesn't change that the Rockets front office built a team that had serious flaws in hopes of losing games throughout the season. They are trying to develop players as well, but developing players and tanking are not mutually exclusive. I can feel however I want as well. I feel getting mad that a team is doing a hare impersonation of tanking while the Rockets are the tortoise seems hypocritical.

I do not see Schroder and Augustin as trying to win.

I don't mind players on the court trying to win. I do mind playing your best players when, at this point in the season, the focus should be on getting young guys minutes so that we organically lose. I'd like to see Garuba, Nix, etc. get 30+ mins. If KPJ and Tate are playing, keep them under 20 mins for the game. This season is done, no need to jeopardize our draft odds on the back of great play from settled players.

We are at the point where, we have so much to lose and nothing to gain from winning at this point. Gotta stop repeating mistakes from our past. We lost out on Brandon Roy because we were too stubborn to place ourselves in the draft properly. This is another one of those instances.

We've been the worst team in the league for most of the season and literally in a three way tie for the worst record.... the tank machine has been cranking all season. Sometimes it's just a matter of timing and luck.
