After all that Terry did against the Rockets when he was with Dallas it was really hard for me to like him. Now, I find that it's really hard for me not to like him.
He seems to hit a three when we really need it; shot clock running down, need to stop the opposing team's momentum, terry is clutch. The other guys seem to like him too. Best trade we've made in a while: Alonzo gee for JET 2.0 and 2 second rounders? We robbed the kings again!!

The day he was signed I said he would be a fan favorite by December. Dude ! Yeah I luv him. Think we got lucky getting an NBA championship team member to come here for almost nothing and him with something to prove. And a lot of knowledge and leadership to share. Go Rockets !

He is doing a fine job, considering his age. Much better than expected. Every good performance from him is a big confidence booster for us.
It's because some would rather see a 29.4% shooting, 25.8% from 3P, no defense player on court instead.
I'm just glad he's contributing off the bench better than Lin was last year. Our team is better (when healthy..) because we have players who know their roles. We don't have as many rotational players that are trying to play outside of their strengths. Never hated Jason Terry, just hated the Mavs and he always played well against us. Didn't help when Michael Finley stole that ball from out of bounds during the 06 or 07 series against Jon Barry in the last few possessions in the game. It's not like I really hate the Mavericks, I just really dislike Mark Cuban and his antics. He says truthful things, but he acts like a little spoiled brat (at least from way the media places his quotes).
I thought this was a good trade when we got Terry. I just felt really good about it and felt he still had something left. Knowing his skill set and with us not having much on the bench, I knew he would be helping us.
It's pretty funny that he has played so well and the rockets got two good picks to trade. I just hope he stays healthy.
