It was a nice surprise to see Terry making his threes. The bigger surprise is his defense. He has been a spark defensively off the bench. Good LAWD!
I will love him when and if he does this in the playoffs. Please stay healthy. He has a knack for hitting the timely three. It is uncanny.
I was glad we signed him because I knew the contract was good vs what we traded (like extending an expiring that was expiring in a couple of weeks) - and we got a pick too. And I suspected he was just sandbagging the Kings because they are the Kings. But I am surprised by how much he's been able to contribute. Sad thing is that his value is still in a contract to be traded so I'm trying not to get too attached.
He's that steady presence off the bench that we've been lacking. Hits his threes and plays surprisingly good defense. Doesn't need to prove he can play, he just knows how.
Our three point shooting has really improved this season and Terry's a big part of that. He's doing exactly what we need from him. I'm stoked for this season.
Well since he is a Rocket, I guess I will like him for now. Once he is gone I will continue to hate him.
If you make a list of all the things that Terry and Ariza bring to this team and I make a list of all the things that last year's team lacked, 75-90% of the info on both lists would likely be identical. Terry and Ariza are without a doubt the two most underrated acquisitions of this past offseason. Two proven vets that not only fill but excel in areas of need.
I think not playing for two years probably preserved his conditioning. His shot is so fluid. The steals are a surprise.
exactly. terry and ariza on the perimeter keeps the defense honest. they can't double on howard or double on terry or ariza. its a pretty interesting scenario.
did not expect anything from him. thought he was done after last season. he's effective at both sides of the court! glad to have him off the bench
I love airplane! One things for sure... The dude is a winner. Aside from his play I think his veteran presence and championship experience is making a huge impact on the guys and in the locker room.
