You shouldnt have a problem with this. Just break out the Novak jersey on them. Bandwagon fans might have a McGrady and Yao jersey, but a Novak jersery?

It doesn't really matter to me...because after we lose a game or two, they'll be gone. Go back to thinking Houston is a two-man show, like they did before the big winning streak. Besides, they'll have time to go jump back on the Lakers, Suns, or Celtics bandwagon without being considered a bandwagoneer.
The only bandwagon fans I hate is the ones that jump from winning team to winning team. I'll admit I'm a Rockets fan because I've followed T-mac but even when he was with the Magic and they won 19 games I was a fan the whole year. I love the Rockets so if T-mac does leave i'll still be a Rockets fan.
I think there are much better players on the team. Novak is only a situational player at the moment. I guess it is possible that there are fans that really are so passionate about his sweet shot that they would choose his jersey over a better player's jersey.

Fakers...They just come out when its good...Where were they when it was bad... My best friend from Pearland does this...I just let it go sometimes, but c'mon...I've just come to realize not everyone is a diehard Rocket fan... My kids asked me this weekend, whose your 3 favorite Basketball teams...I told them the Rockets, Rockets and Rockets...They were like, no, who else, what about the mavs or heat...I told them the only team that matters are the Rockets...
You have to become a fan sometime. I didn't until the playoffs in 1986. Granted, I was only 11 at the time. Some will stay fans and become like us. Others will go back to normal until playoff time. Either way, the more the merrier.
That's why I break out the Shane Battier jersey... Or an old school Kenny Smith Jersey that hasn't fit for like 7 years. I hate to even admit this on here, but I was rooting for the mavs that year the Rockets didn't make it to the playoffs. My roommate at the time is a lifelong mavs fan. And I mean lifelong; he was there when they were losing every game. That sort of fandom is infectious, so I went along with him. In my defense, the Rockets/mavs series in the playoffs the season before was amazingly fun for me. Every single basket was trash talk. Man, SO MANY EXPLETIVES. And the Finley pass? I think I screamed the f word like 40 times.
i think i hate the pompous elitist fans that feel thier entitled to be the only fans allowed to root for the rockets cause they spend thier whole day obsessing about the rockets. Then they make stupid threads berating other fans so thier ashamed to root for the rockets cause thier scared to be called bandwagonners.Then they complain about how houston has no "heart" and never comes out to support thier team. I'd rather take a bandwagon fan any day than the fan who berates others cause they think their better than other fans.
Bandwagon fans are fine. It's the TMac haters that come out after a 22 game wining streak who need to be shot.
