NO the real wrost thing is he has two years left and then a player option after those two season to come back if he want to.

I don't care JH is making gazillion doing nothing. He has a contract, he should get paid.

We shouldn't be thinking how to save money by cutting players. Les needs to fork out more to get some quality players. He sure can afford it.

He is a nice person and a good team player, but not at such high salary (about 7 million next year). But i cannot think out which team would like to accept his contract. It's too difficult to get rid of his contract.

you hope that howard makes it clear he will opt out of his contract...then a team might want him.

Without Juwon there would be no Tracy. Should be able to trade him next year for someone if I have his contract length right, next year and the following. so when it becomes expiring we should get something for him, Joe Johnson would look nice in a Rox uni if the Hawks haven't figured out how to win yet and decide not to pay him MAX money to continue losing.

But unless management decides to trade Mac or Ming which aint happening, we are going to look very similar to the same team next season, there's just not a lot of moves a team can make once they make their decision to build around their stars as we have with 111. We will add one guy with the MLE and that will be it.

He's the price we paid to get McGrady, and you have to make that trade. Heck, he's played better than I thought he would. I just wish he'd come through in the playoffs. Bummer.

i knew, based on prior playoff performances and history of Juwan, that he would not be a factor.

however, i didn't expect him to stink that bad.
i actually enjoyed juwan's work in the regular season. however, juwan vs boozer was a liability. if juwan can't hit that open 15 footer, then he's VSPAN-like.

If he makes those open jumpers like he did during good parts of the regular season, we're discussing the second round. Of course, you could make similar comments about several Rockets players.

Basically, we are stuck with him. It sucks, but we'll see what can happen

Our cap situation is not pretty as far as replacing a PF and a PG go

JHo shot well when Yao was injured. Next season, Rox may make some adjustment to make JHo hot, and sell him ON TIME!

How do you get rid of Howard's contract? Simple. You move him for another guy with a similar bad contract. Those of you expecting some miracle salary dump are dillusional.

A straight up trade for Mike James. Minny can take it or leave it.

A whole lot of teams are after points this off-season. Rafer has a relatively nice contract that should be easily moved.

Sign Travis Diener & Ime Udoka both should be LLE or less but potential diamonds in the rough.

Then offer up either Head or Snyder for Walter Herrmann

That's a solid core right there.

    James/Diener/Spanoulis
    McGrady
    Battier/Udoka
    Herrmann/Hayes/Novak
    Yao/Deke

    hooroo,

I doubt Charlotte would want to move Herrmann. He just had his breakout season, basically becomming this year's Andres Nocioni. He averaged something like 16-17 PPG through the last two months of the season. I find it hard to believe they take Snyder or Head for him.

I think the better low salary swap could be seeing if Charlotte would take Snyder for Sean May. May is so huge and skilled offensively, he could be the perfect long term replacement for Howard's offense off of the bench.

I also think you're way off about Diener making an adequete backup at the point. I hate being too critical here, but I simply don't think he's an NBA talent.

Noy only Howard's Contract but we can get Mutombo to retire and this will give us a little more to work with.
it's not just his contract- he is also not good enough!!
