Ok, I'll concede that they were 4x better on offense, but not 4x better on defense. As far as the protecting the paint instinctual thing, yeah this is a huge problem, but I would say give Howard a chance to acclimate to knowing he has Asik behind him to guard the paint before we determine that he would go a full season without remembering to stick his 4 man in the pick and pop. I would hope that after having a few jumpers splashed on him that he would take notice and take the challenge since he is a defensive minded guy and defensive minded guys do NOT like to be scored on. That should be as easy an adjustment as when guards either go under or over the screens depending on who they're guarding. Picking up in transition will probably be a bigger issue. We'll see if they can adjust to this mental part of the game or not. Physically I believe they can do it.

it really was funny looking at players throwing the ball out upon seeing two giants under the board.

last night randolph was trying to play post up against Asik. he was able to outhustle Asik but he got committed to shoot and guess who was waiting to block it...

teams wouldnt want to attack our twin towers

they will go after our weak link our defense and that is James Hairy Hardon

as they go after james, our players need to help james and that opens up the floor for their team with dunks, wide open 3s etc.

Yeah but Harden isn't that bad to the point he can be picked on... that would be Jeremy Lin if anyone in the current rotation unless your counting T. Jones or Motiejunas.

Harden last year was one of the worst defenders and yes, it was bad enough where people were picking on him. He's capable of being a good defender, he just didn't show the effort. When other teams caught wind of that, they would set picks on Harden and cruise on by with a 2 on 1 to the basket.

You don't score on them. You sit them down.

Opposing guards need to throw themselves at them, like Roy used to do with Yao.

Seems like Perk and Ibaka did OK.
