I never said I didn't ever do it again. But doing something like this on a daily basis when dealing with corporate job world, wife, kids, you know adult things it becomes harder and kind of stupid to continue to do these things day in and day out. Every now and then when my friend scores some we indulge. But no where near the pot head status that I gained when I was a late teen or young adult. Responsibilities often get in the way of giggling yourself to death, zoning out into a paranoid state, or eating all the babies snacks due to munchies. You know, you grow up.
I see a multitude of people that still smoke weed even after becoming parents, it's very common. That being said, the ones I deal with are typically also crackheads and I only see them during our short ride to the county jail or while I am at their CPS hearing...

Immature people smoke weed all the time, every day... etc... Just like immature people have to drink everyday. It's not healthy mentally, to rely on a substance to relax you, or whatever you want to say it does. Also when you have a kid, you have another life to worry about. You can have your child taken away. So yeah, it's pretty immature to smoke weed when you have a mouth to feed. brah.
While I believe mar1juana should be legalized, I think it's unwise to encourage someone to use it. I think it's better for all people to not use mar1juana, unless they have a medical condition that mar1juana may help. mar1juana is not a healthy choice for most people. I think people should have the right to use or not use it, but encouraging someone to use that doesn't want to use it seems wrong.

if you need to be high constantly i can see why she would be annoyed. when i get into weeks at a time of smoking daily, it starts to affect my productiveness and self esteem. i'm comfortably numb, but vaguely depressed. not only that, but the psychological maladies that hit when i run out of weed make me all around pissy, anxious and unable to sleep through the night. as much as DARE-type people who think all pot users are dumb and worthless annoy me, so do the people who act like there's no mental withdrawal symptoms after heavy usage for several weeks. i like being around people who smoke for fun, but not total 12/7 stoners. there are quite a few lawyers at my work who partake and yet somehow still manage to make six figures and maintain a family. but it kind of just sounds like y'all are not really compatible if you need your SO to join in your recreational activities.
I will say it. I smoked more than my share when I was young. But it's illegal although it could be viewed as semi ok if you are single with little responsibility and want to take the risk of getting caught buying it, possessing it or have it turn up during urinalysis testing for a job.
