I just thought it might be interesting to see how & why people picked their user names. eg. yoyo, tinman, Old man rock, durvasa, moestavern, leebigez, etc... Obvious ones like player names are self explanatory. I'll start. 3 is my favourite number. (please lock if there is already a similar thread)
This is the perfect forum for this. My handle is a nickname people use for me. "Bee-Bob," derived from my first and middle name, kind of rhyming with "Bebop," one of my favorite types of music.

Was listening to the Guns N Roses song "Patience" a lot around the time I registered. Plus, at the time, I thought that people on the board needed to be more patient with Cat and Steve, and give them more time to develop. Oops.

The reason I asked was your mention of bee-bop. Of course, you quite probably were kidding, but if you were not, and even if you were, you should enlighten yourself about Dan and his Hot Licks (the Hot Licks being the two chicks that sing mostly backup vocals, but not always, sometimes singing lead). My suggestion? Buy Return to Hicksville - The Best of Dan Hicks and his Hot Licks - The Blue Thumb Years - 1971-1973. Seriously, you will not be disappointed. I'm looking at my CD right now, so I'm sure it's out there. Go forth and buy it!
