I could not listen to Tony Ortiz and Adam. They were way too dull.

I could not listen to Matt and Jeremy. There was AWFUL!

Matt and Adam work great together.

I used to love when Charlie and Rich had a show together, in fact it was my favorite radio show at the time. Rich would always come off with some stupid sports take that was completly wrong and Charlie would comeback and put him in check. It made for interesting radio with Charlie being the main host and Rich being the no-so-smart sidekick.

IMO Charlie 'maturing' is his main problem these days and the reason why his show does not have better ratings then the drive time players. He has become way to kind to his callers, and was much more interesting to listen to when he ripped into them. He sounds like a host that's too needy for listeners right now, and just like with women when you come off too needy you chase them away.

I know! A variation of this same thread pops up at least every 2 weeks.

While we're on the subject of radio hosts. Who was the guy that filled in for Gene Peterson and called a few Rocket games last season?

I really wish they would give him the job full time. He really made the games entertaining to listen to. He was very enthusiastic and I thought he did a great job. No offense to Gene Peterson, but that new guy made the broadcasts so much better.

I always thought Lance Zerlin from 610's morning show and CP would make a GREAT duo. Both have really good sports knowledge and Lance can pull off the "funny guy" to CP's more straightfoward approach.

    Make it happen 790! :)

    Chance,

Since I moved to NYC, I of course have to listen to 610 over teh Interwebs.

I enjoy the Seamonkey commercials MUCH more than Trailer Wheel & Frame.

    Thank you.
