I don't mess with movies. My film snobbery prohibits it. I don't mess with music unless it's hosted on file locker site or blog. I do download p0rn though, although I read articles that state Hustler likes to sue. And the gay p*rn companies are notorious for borderline extortion in their suing methods. In sythesis, staright p0rn cool, gay p*rn not cool.
Sounds like you know what you're wanting to do is illegal, so stop acting coy. If you just want to straight up ask about the likelihood you'll get caught for grabbing the latest screener of Superman then just do so.
It can cause epilepsy, and results involuntary loss of autonomic control. In rare cases known to trigger fatal arrhythmias. please torrent with caution and contact your medical provider.
I actually got an email from Comcast to my email saying that I downloaded a copyrighted p*rn file blah blah blah but that was the last of it. This. So much faster and convenient. Yeah. It was a warning. Didn't scare or stop me though
I heard it burned the village, raped the horses, rode off on the women, plundered, and pruned the hedges of many small villages.
Yup. You can find plenty of unprotected/public servers full of music. I used to have the Grooveshark downloader as well (not sure if that still works). The only things I'll really torrent are some applications/software (I used to download Office every couple of years when a new version came out, but I was willing to pay the $10 for Office via company discount). I see no point in downloading movies since I can stream everything without the "risk". I've only known of one person who ever got a letter from his ISP -- and that was in Germany. He ended up having to settle for like €800, even though it was "only" three files (movies), including one p*rn.
I got two warnings from my VPN to not illegally download. They told me they would terminate my VPN service if it continued. Haven't received an warning in over a year now though. I mainly download tv shows from private torrent sites with my VPN. So the whole scenario leaves me a bit baffled.
I recommend getting a torrent downloader like uTorrent and when your file is done downloading stop it from seeding, it helps with your internet speed and any chance of getting caught.
Thats how I go as well. No movies, very little music, and shameless p*rn. Because as I keep saying (to myself), the p*rn is less about "piracy" and more about quick discreet private use. We'da never paid for old Hustler mags 80's and back if they were online, just we HAD to cuz that was the only distribution then. Online is now the universal "dirty mag found in the woods"
