How does it feel to not have a heart? I'd never know.

Awww, that was so sad. :( Makes me so glad that my husband and I got our doggie Bee Bee from the Humane Society. Kind of a similar story to the one posted except we adopted her just in time because she was so ill and skinny that I'm pretty sure she was going to be put to sleep had we not rescued her. She is so happy, healthy, and spoiled now! :D

Don't worry, MB is just showing a "tough guy" facade. Remember, he cried at the end of Forrest Gump. :D

    A bit dramatic?

Do you read every sappy mass email that is sent out? Do you send it to 10 friends when you are done? Do you really think that you are going to have 10 years of bad luck if you don't? I'm sorry that I get tired of hearing about stories that aren't real.

Here is a real family in our own area that really needs help, much more than your fictional dog.

Nobody ever claimed the story to be real. And it isn't an anonymous email chain letter.

    Dog owners,

We get it, you love your dog. It's just like a member of your family. You make life decisions based on their needs.

The rest of us don't care. Please stop expecting us to.

And by the way, if you were to die, alone in your house except for your dog, it would eat you if it got hungry before somebody found you.

If you aren't a dog owner then this story doesn't apply to you does it? This is for those who get a puppy and then aren't responsible enought to take care of it once it becomes a dog.

The only difference is that the other thread is about children. Oh, and it's actually a real story.

    Pretty much the same.

I didn't say they were the same. But the dog story is based on a real story that has happened many times. Life is life, and all should be deeply respected, that's all.

Edit: Dogs are trained to find cancer by it's smell. They can save the lives of children with cancer. And many dogs are used to lift the spirits of children with cancer etc. :)

    Kid owners,

We get it, you love your kid. It's just like a member of your family. You make life decisions based on their needs.

The rest of us don't care. Please stop expecting us to.

And by the way, if you were to die, alone in your house except for your kid, it would piss on you before somebody found you.

...actually, I think it's the cat that would start eating your dead body, not the dog
