This is my first time here and I am signing up for duty.

I have also wondered why he does not dunk in the nba. Could be that he looks slightly heavier than he did while in Spain. As long as he is doing what he is doing, the points, rebounds, hustle and team ball, that's all that matters. He is the key to a 1st round success.

hey guess wht, Yao rarely dunks, what pisses me off is that lot of time when yao receives a pass and nobody is around him, he just toss the ball up for a little backboard instead of a jam...dissapointing

The rims in the NBA and in any other professional league in the world are at the same height.

I would think he doesn't dunk because he doesn't need to. A layup and a dunk are both worth 2 points, and Scola is a winner, not a showman. So he just lays it up.

It isn't about "not showing off." There are numerous times where he misses layups or even makes difficult shots near the rim that he would certainly dunk if he could. He isn't explosive....it's really that simple.
