No dude, he's not that go-to guy any more and we need a second option.

He'd be a good 2nd option... Throw it to him in the paint and let him go to work.

He might like to end his career playing for the man who drafted him.

Because that's Garnett's game, right??? Wrong.

That wasn't even his game during his prime.

Doesn't mean he can't do it. Also his mid range game is pretty spot on, which will stretch the floor. He can finish around the rim with a defender and post up better than any player we got on the team right now. To say he wouldn't help us offensively or defensively would be ignorant. Yes he's older, but his game is still good. He's crafty and has a nice turn around jumper from the post.

If this was a couple of years ago with the same roster I would have said yes. At this point... pass

Anybody denying that KG would be a huge help to this team is in major denial. With KG and a couple other smaller pieces we'd be contenders even at his advanced age.

I think if we can sign dwight Howard then going after kg is a no brainer even if you have to give up asik and Lin.

    Bev
    Harden
    Parsons
    Kg
    Dwight

That team with three point shooters on the bench is IMO the best team out west and a legit threat to the heat because of the interior defense the rockets would have. With harden being the go to wing player up top closing games out. I really think harden would thrive with dwight and kg more open lanes because of pick n roll with Howard teams must cover him and kg can hit the mid range consistent an can post up for stretchs of games.

Ideally this would be my pipe dream but more realistic than getting cp3 and dwight together team heading into next yr.

I love KG but he's 48 freaking years old. You dont add someone like that unless you're going for a title. Plus, why the hell would he leave Boston? He loves it there and their team is about the same in terms of championship potential next season, basically no chance.

Bradley would be a huge pickup - but in a way Beverly plays that role

lol forget that dream. Make a hard push for Kenyon Martin. He's exactly what this team needs. High intensity...good defensive inside, rebounding, toughness, hustle, sets good picks. Ohh and and he brings "good energy" they love that.

This reminds me of Shaq getting traded to a young DWade team for a few years rental.

We can't. His no trade clause is used by teams to play up their assets trade value (such as Clippers/Bledsoe), but there's no realistic scenario where he leaves Boston for anything besides retirement.

I hate him, but he would be a great mentor for Robinson, DMo, and Jones.
