I think you just let him playout the season, then attempt an S&T or just let him walk, or resign him. Right now, he is not worth much. He cost 11 mill and has 1 year left on his contract, and is coming off an injury and his worst season to date. If anything let him play until the trade deadline and try to boost his stats to up his stock. Thats considering if he isnt part of a major trade for a star.
he wont be traded until the trade deadline.. hopefully he shows that he can still play with the new foul rules..his trade value needs to go up for the rockets to have a chance at landing a superstar..
Make sure he averages at least 25ppg till the deadline aka showcase him and we will deal him to a contending team that loses their sg to injury or to a team making a run for the playoffs.
Can he be traded for a trade exception and draft pick, or does another player need to be involved for salary purposes? I'd love to be able to pick up someones unprotected first in 2014 and hope for the best. Other than that, he does not have much value as a player for the Rockets, we need to let the young guys play and see what Lamb can do.
it depends on the trade partner. i can't think of any team that may want him AND have enough cap/trade exception. so it'd likely be for a player (+asset)
Let him play out. He's going to ball out of control. Make sure that we don't trade him for Dwight Coward
I thought they took them to a good home in the country with alot of property and land for them to be happy?
Keep him and let him teach Lamb and mentor Lamb. Having a guy like KMart for Lamb to learn behind will be so valuable to his development!
I think trading him to create cap space is the best idea. In next years off season we should look to sign a better PG or C. Depending on our season that is still undecided.
