pryao-en, you realize that you went fishing for Yao in a Lebron article right? that's like looking for some good Mexican food in Russia is there no limit ? are you going to look at women's magazines to see if Yao was mentioned?
How is that any different than your homosexual love affair with VY? What's the limit on that one? And for those who critize pryuen for his quirkiness (I checked the spelling and it's correct), I actually value his YOFism more than all of your message postings COMBINED....because at least I get some valuable inside knowledge about Yao stuff off the court- which is provided by our resident Yao-stalker (pryuen) about 99% of the time.
everyone's probably already said this. maybe the conversation's already gone to another topic. but pruyen, the writer of the article does include yao as one of the top players...and he WAS an mvp candidate before he got injured..you can't be MVP by being on the sidelines....and it's extraordinary for a guy 7-6 to shoot that well. of course, for us, it's normal, and a darn awesome thing. i can't wait for yao to come back!
Pruyen, my man At least stay around to respond You started a fire and didn't bother to put it out Don't worry. Yao is not forgotten. We will be reminded of how much we miss Yao every time Deke fumbles a pass and everytime we lose a game Our margin of error without Yao is very small. We have to play inspired error free basketball in order to win. And against the elite, we can play close to our best ans still lose without Yao. That's why I don't think we can be too uspet if we lose to the Mavs. We have 2 easier games after that and I'll be happy if we go 3-1 in the current road-home stretch
I dont start the VY Threads nor am I the resident VY person. Im just the defender of justice and heroes. whenever there is a snipe at VY by haters. I come to defend. This is simply a listing of people's free throw % compared to Lebron. how's that a diss? There's no hate in this article on Yao. the hate is on Lebron's free throw shooting! I could care less if VY is mentioned in one sentence in an article NOT ABOUT HIM. but you read ALL MY MESSAGES. thats my power! its my clutchcity powers! So, do the VSPAN and sit down!
After all the nice work you've done for us, Pryuen, this time, you over-reacted. I am from China as well, but I think the media here is not being mean. Yao is merely being used as an example of big men. Traditionally, they are not supposed to shoot well on the foul line.
Did you guys even think before coming to the conclusion that Pryuen has overeacted? Or you just see this as a good opportunity to pile on someone? If Pryuen has read what the writer said correctly but still made a big deal out of it, I agree that he has overreacted. But, obviously, Pryuen has misread what the writer said and thought it was very disrespectful. He has mistakenly thought the word 'even' carried a very negative meaning. He was wrong and He has read it incorrectly. Poor English skills? Yes. Overreaction? No.
Actually Pryuen's english skill is above the average folks as proven by his translational skills of chinese to english articles. However, at times he may slip up and be at lost in translation. Therefore, if he's at lost in translation, then we should forgive him for what could have been interepreted as "overaction" by most people Me personally, I was just bored today and wanted to have a little fun with this, I have no malice intention at all. Pryuen, if you are reading this , your'e still alright with me. Just having a little fun with you.. that's all
Pry, are you serious?!? Let me put it simple for you...what he meant by "even 7-6 Yao can shoot free-throw" was a compliment to Yao and a knock on Lebron. I'm surprise that one went right over your head...thats what happen when you become obsessive...and the guy did mention Yao with the other MVP who can shoot high percentage.
Please forgive Pryuen misinterpreting and for seeing the glass as half empty instead of half full. He's still a cool dude, even now I have started to tolerate the classic smilies , which is sort of his trademark
