I hate the word "tank" Trade our older guys, go young, and DRAFT WELL! But still go out and compete. Try to win every game with what you got.
I really think this may have a significant impact on attracting a star. The marquee players in this league are all intensely aware of their image and brand. They're going to be in commercials, on billboards and cereal boxes, etc, and our uniforms now are definitely in the lowest echelon of "cool". Stars need to be able to envision themselves here, and if they can't see themselves in a badass Rockets uni (because it doesn't exist), it's over before it even started. None of these players have ever suited up as above, but only one of them looks truly fraudulent, and it doesn't have to do with photoshopping skills (props to Clutch or whoever mocks the Rockets ones up for us).

Parsons/MMo ????/PPat/DMo Camby/DMo Leaves Scola, Kmart's expiring contract, Bud's cheap contract, Sams decent expiring contract, Lull rights, Dallas future first rounder and 2 mid first round picks to move for a stud PF (or overpay and get a young with upside - Derrick Williams?) ....buy a second pick and let Morey do his magic for a bu sg.... I like that squad.... maybe not a favorite to win it all - but possible...
Can someone provide information on whether or not Mr. Alexander has made or lost money with the Rockets these last two years? If he has made money, what reason at all does he have of changing a thing (getting us off this mediocrity treadmill)?
What team is going to give draft picks for Scola and Martin? Can anyone answer that? You need a team with cap room to take those guys on. Who has that? And if they do, why would they want those guys? And if they did, why would they give you anything of value?
