Apparently the Mavericks are going to make a hard push for Wallace. That would be devastating! Imagine a Nowitzki, Wallace, Howard, Stackhouse/Terry, Harris lineup. Kiss the Warrior troubles good bye! *unless they get KG* And Dallas would still have the pieces to bring in Kidd.

Dallas just seems like too soft of a team to me. I think they would be better off going after someone like Nocioni throwing around players in a sign and trade.

I could fix their softness in a heartbeat. KG 4 Dirk.

Other than he can't guard real PFs. He is too small. He is a great help defender, but can't be a one on one defender, which is very important with Duncan and Boozer. He could defend against Nowitzki and Amare because they depend on their quickness more than strength.

And ATL woudn't trade him. He was their 2nd best player last season.

I agree. Nocioni would be good option. He can shoot he can post up play defense. I like that guy

WTF - Childress = end of bench player?? Well if he is, then hurry up and trade for him.

The dude shoots 50+%, gives you 15 pts, almost 7 rebounds, is 6-8 and can play the SG and SF spots. He's a very solid player. I'd love to see him here if we had the chance.

And even Sheldon Williams is a solid rotation player. Ok, he's nothing special but he plays good defense and does the dirty work. That's all the Rockets would ever need right now in a PF.

There is nothing that we can offer for Josh Smith. He's one of the better young players in the league, I cant see any scenario outside of kidnapping Billy Knight's family that would make a trade happen.

Wallace is a good player. He can rebound, defend steal and block. I'd love to have him on our team. He can play the PF, SF and SG.

Absolutely concur! Josh Smith is an amazing athlete. Atlanta would be braindead to offer him for anyone who can't do HALF of what he's capable of.
IMO he has the skillset to succeed KG as the most versatile NBA player in a year or so!

    Wallace..Josh Smith...Nocioni...?

Amazingly, some posters still haven't yet adjusted to $Ball parameters. They'll dream on until the reality of Joe Smith or Brian Skinner sets in.

Smith is 6'7" w/o shoes, 6'8.5" w/ shoes, he just rounded up to 6'9"
    Battier is 6'8.25 w/o shoes

And the Rockets are going to get to $6m how???

That's not the problem. The problem is that during a game Smith spends most of the time with a hand near the rim and feet off of the ground while Battier keeps the shoes under his 6'8" parked at the 3 point line.

One possibility S&T Alston+lucas/novak. Duhon has an expiring contract and Bulls management are allegedly tired of his partying ways.

Alston is starting PG in the WC for a playoff team. His contract is manageable and below MLE. Deng & Gordon are likely to get 10M+ contract extensions a piece next season.

I watch the Hawks play all the time. I live in F'ing Georgia. You can trust me. They aren't very good. There is a reason why the Hawks have a bad record, and isn't just because they've been missing a PG.

You also gave him an extra 2ppg over what he averaged last year. Players always look better when they are on garbage teams playing over 35 minutes per game.

Agreed. I do think they have alot of good young talent, just no chemistry at all. Good teams usually play down to bad teams as well, allowing certain Hawks to get their stats filled for the night and try to get on the highlight reel. They need to figure out what players are messing up their chemistry and get rid of them for some veterans.
